Herb Butter

herb-butter-002So even after using my fresh herbs in several recipes and making homemade Pesto I still find I have some left over.   Even if you don’t grow your own herbs you may find yourself with some extra herbs when you buy a pack to use in a recipe.  I found a great solution.  I made some delicious Herb Butter that I put in my freezer and I can use it whenever I have a craving for garlic bread, I want to spice up some vegetables, or even on chicken or steak.  I had extra Basil and Oregano so that is what I used but you can use whatever herbs you have on hand.

Mix all the ingredients to combine.  Use immediately or transfer to an airtight container for later use.
