Double Dinner Duty

By Jean August 19th, 2009

Last night I got a call to ask me to bring dinner to a neighbor.  But of course, I was running late getting home from work, so I was left with only 30 minutes to cook dinner for my family and a neighbor’s family.

Dinner#1 - Cider Braised Pork Chops (Dream Dinners, September 2009), Serving Suggestions - red potatoes and green beans with walnuts

Roasted Red Potatoes

Sauteed Green Bean with Walnuts

Noticed how they are all packaged in foil containers?  Then you won’t lose any of your dishes.  Danielle, aren’t you proud?

Dinner#2- Oven Baked Almond Chicken (Dream Dinners, August 2009), Serving Suggestion: rice and glazed carrots

My kids love the Oven Baked Almond Chicken.  Their favorite part is the “special ketchup” - known as sweet and sour sauce to non-toddlers!

Thanks Dream Dinners for two quick and easy dinners, making it easy to serve those around me!
