I received a very touching Thank You note recently.  It wasn’t for a wedding or baby gift just simply a note from a friend “Thanks for your help” and it really touched me.  I realized how much of a lost art hand written cards and thank you notes in gerneral are becoming.  This made me a little sad.  All of us rush about our days and send text messages or get on twitter but there is something so personal and heartfelt when you recieve a note in a persons on handwritting that can’t be matched with even the most advanced technology.   I have thus set a new resolve to send more personal thank you notes.  I confess I won’t do it as often as I would like but I am going to try.
